Privacy Policy

Cloudzara Innovations ("Rentify", "we", "us") operates the Rentify mobile app and website, a vehicle rental and trip-booking marketplace connecting renters with vehicle owners across Nepal. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what control you have over it.

1. Information We Collect

• Account & identity: name, email, phone number, password, or your Google Sign-In profile.
• Verification documents (vehicle owners): government ID (citizenship, passport, or national ID) and driving licence, used to verify owners before they can list a vehicle.
• Location: precise or approximate device location, and pickup/drop-off points you set, used to show nearby vehicles and calculate trips.
• Photos: profile photo, vehicle listing photos, and vehicle handover/return condition photos.
• Booking & financial: booking history, in-app wallet balance, and bank account details for partner payouts.
• Messages: in-app chat between renter and vehicle owner, and support requests.
• Device & usage: device identifiers, push-notification token, app-usage analytics, and Google advertising ID.

2. How We Use It

To operate the marketplace, verify partner identity, process bookings and payouts, send booking notifications, improve the app, and detect fraud or policy violations.

3. Who We Share It With

The renter and vehicle owner in a booking see each other's name, contact details, and booking-related messages. We share data with the service providers we run on — Firebase/Google Cloud, Supabase, Google Maps & Places, and Mapbox — only as needed to operate the app. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Storage & Security

Data is stored with our infrastructure providers and transmitted over encrypted connections. Verification documents and financial details are restricted to the systems and staff that need them.

5. Your Choices

• Location, camera, and photo permissions can be turned off in your device settings at any time — some features will not work without them.
• Turn off push notifications in your device settings.
• Delete your account and associated data any time from Profile > Delete Account in the app, or at rentify.cloudzara.com/delete-account.
• Contact us to request a copy of your data or a correction.

6. Retention

We keep account and booking data for as long as your account is active and as needed for legal and dispute-resolution purposes. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your data except what we are required to keep by law.

7. Children

Rentify is not directed at children. Renting a vehicle requires being a legal adult, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We will update the effective date above whenever this policy changes, and post the updated version here.
